The author makes his home in California’s Central Valley region, considered the most productive agricultural areas in the world. The pace of life is even slower than the Salinas Valley, a place he called home for more than half of his 30ish years. (“Why do I consistently end up among the row crops?” he opined recently.)
He works for a nonprofit foster care agency and when he isn’t doing that, he struggles through Greek as a first-year Master of Divinity student at Fuller Seminary.
This blog is made possible by the author’s wife, who keeps generous amounts of organic, shade-grown coffee on hand, and by readers like you, who support his overinflated ego.
Hi Jay and Amelia – Brian is graduating! I know…21 years in school and finally, a diploma. I want to send you a very nice and respectable invite, so can one of you call me? We miss you and find that our only interaction with you is this blog. We have so many things to share with you. Hope to hear from you soon. Rika
